March 18, 2020 We have set up the following links for online shopping while our website is down, for those who cannot or prefer not to come shop in the store: An order form including, among others, Pesach highlights - Options include in-store pickup (in the physical store or curbside delivery), or home delivery (free for orders of $50 or more within the local delivery zone, a nominal fee for other orders). March 13, 2020 STATEMENT FROM THE ISRAELI SOURCE REGARDING COVID-19 PROTOCOLS --------------------- In consideration of the situation surrounding the potential spread of COVID-19 (Coronovirus), we wanted to take the opportunity to reach out to our customers and ensure that we are staying on top of alerts from local health authorities, especially those of Toronto Public Health and York Region Public Health, and applying their suggested protocols wherever applicable. While we are putting in more focus on cleaning common areas with not only cleaning solutions but disinfectants as well, most other procedures and operations of our business remain unaffected and will proceed as usual. One aspect where our customers may note a difference is that this year we will not be putting out bins of tasting samples of the Handmade Shmurah Matzah from which customers can help themselves, until such time that we can do so safely (eg., each piece already individually wrapped in a single-use wrapper, under properly maintained conditions). Our staff will only be at work if they are feeling well, without any concerns of exposure, and are being instructed to wash their hands at regular intervals, especially after handling cash. We ask that any customers who are experiencing cold or flu symptoms refrain from visiting the store, and we extend an offer of free delivery for any purchase of $75 or more (within specified geographical boundaries; email info@israelisource.com or call 905-482-2025 for details).
